Trick or Treat?
Happy ...... Halloween?
Yes, Thanksgiving is tomorrow. Why am I wishing you a Happy Halloween? Well... I came home yesterday for Thanksgiving break and when I got home, one of the first few things my mom said to me was, "Glad you're home! Now you can help us get rid of all of the leftover halloween candy!"
Halloween candy? Still?
When I was little, between me, my sister and my brother, all of the halloween candy would be gone in less than a week. And now it's the middle of November, and there is still candy?! What? ... Grant's slacking.
Just kidding. Well... I decided to take on this challenge of leftover Kit Kats... and bake these.
Kit Kat Cookie Bars!
I made these with my brother in mind. He loves Kit Kat bars and cookies... so why not put both together?
The recipe is really simple, and since they're cookie bars, you just pop them in the oven all at once and have 28 minutes to do with whatever you like.... like getting ready for Thanksgiving, perhaps? :)
Enjoy!
