Double Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
For some reason I always feel like it's Monday... which can be a real drag because they seem to go by sooooo slooowww.
So why not make some Double Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies to make the day a little better?
This recipe makes a. ton. of. cookies. I'd say about 4- 4 1/2 dozen? It's definitely one to keep in mind when you need to bake for a large crowd.
Easy, simple, drop cookies. Basically it's a traditional chocolate chip cookie recipe with just a little added oatmeal and cocoa powder.

Double Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup Cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups oats
1 bag of milk chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat Oven to 350F.
Beat butter, sugars, and vanilla in large bowl until light and fluffy; add eggs.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
Add flour mixture to large bowl; stir in oats and chips.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for about 10 minutes.
